Laboratory of High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy and Analytical Spectroscopy

The Laboratory (Head Dr. V.G.Koloshnikov) was set up in 1989. It includes the Groups of Laser Atomic Fluorescence Analysis (Prof. M.A.Bolshov), of Diode Laser Spectroscopy (Dr. Yu.A.Kuritsyn), of Spectral Analysis of Metals and Alloys (Dr. A.M.Lifshits), and the Group of New Methods of Microwave Spectroscopy (Dr. B.S.Dumesh) (which earlier was a part of the Laboratory of Rotational and Vibrational Spectra (Prof. M.R.AIiev)). The main directions of research works of the Laboratory are the development of new methods and instrumentation for spectral analysis and high resolution molecular spectroscopy and applications of these methods for the solution of concrete scientific and practical problems.

At present laboratory consists of four groups mentioned above, in which 20 members (including one Professor and 11 Drs) work.
